As part of delivering the Technology Strategy, Graeme Armstrong, SVP Technology, has announced changes to the organisation and leadership of the Technology function.
A new Technology Executive has been formed whose role will be to drive the functional changes inherent within the Technology Strategy and provide the critical science & technologies needed to support the Group’s Organisational Business Entities’ (OBEs’) business strategies.
The members of the Technology Executive (pictured here) are: Andrew Whittaker, Group Science & Technology Director, who will lead the Materials Science Centre of Excellence globally as well as the Strategic Technology Group in Wilton; Ann Savoca, Corporate Vice President R&D in National Starch, who will lead the Corporate Technology Innovation Group in Bridgewater and its transition to the new Technology organisation; Andrew Haslett, Group Science & Technology Director, who will lead Measurement and Modelling Centre of Excellence globally and have responsibility for the Measurement Science Group at Wilton; Keith Le Page, who will become the Change Programme Director and head of the Strategy Project Office; Colin Mumme-Young, Human Resources Partner for Technology, who will provide HR leadership for the function; and Hilary Allan, External Research Manager, who will be responsible for ICI’s investment in external research in addition to supporting the Technology Leadership Team.
