ICI has published its safety, health and environmental (SHE) objectives and reported its performance in full against these objectives each year since 1991. We are committed to the principle of transparency in this reporting.

Our current set of objectives is set out in our Sustainability Challenge 2010 programme. ICI will continue to report our performance in full against the expanded set of objectives established for 2010.
Each Challenge series of objectives has been more demanding than its predecessor and has covered an increasingly broader range of issues. The results reflect our global operations, and are reported with no exceptions. They are verified by independent third-party auditors/experts.
