As a minimum we require our businesses to comply with relevant laws and regulations on safety, security, health and environment. Our policy is to comply with local law wherever we operate. In 2006 we paid a total of £10,109 in fines as a result of eight breaches of environmental safety or product regulations.
We have strict internal reporting procedures and our businesses document learning from any incidents or situations to share with other businesses within the ICI Group. We continue to strive for no infringements, taking specific actions to achieve that goal.
